Often, looking aty female characters in comics, i am once again moved to recall the saying that most young men would never admit that they have never actually seen a nude woman; comics artists seem to brag about it.

Well, some of them haven't.

If you want to catch a great women superhero created, written and drawn by a woman, check out the current issue of Comics Journal. They reprint a bunch of Tarpe Mills' classic 1940s Miss Fury.

You know, WW lives here. She still looks a lot like that, although she's muted the color of her clothes a bit.
