I love the top picture! Who did that? I've liked modern art my whole life. Made some people think I was nuts.

... favorite of mine, too, Marilee. That one is a watercolor by Lia Cuilty called "Arrested Flight," ca. 1943.

Apparently there's no prints of that. All the references I could google were of the show. (The Smithsonian usually has prints of things in their shows.) But while I was looking, I found something that was similar, but with a more naturalistic look:
