Ouch– little bit of spoilers in there. But I'm really happy to hear you feel this has a "mythological resonance".

Were there spoilers in there? I didn't pick up on any really. I mean they have spent what seems like the major part of the past year leaking this stuff to the public to build interest in the film and if you've seen any of the trailers most everything that is mentioned here is shown.

I'm just glad the biggest spoiler – the monster – has yet to be leaked… or has it:http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/cloverfield

Are you serious? this movie has no relationship to 9/11 other than they are both in the same state. Remember in 9/11 when a giant monster threw the statue of liberty's head across the town??? There is a difference between airplanes crashing into building and a giant alein monster killing the human race. People need to Build a Bridge and GET OVER IT.

Are you a total moron? They're not talking LITERALLY about 9/11, but ALLEGORICALLY. Like the original Godzilla movie (Gojira) was about the A-bomb.
