I'd go for the multi-colored fairy tales myself. I loved these books myself and they were some of the first books I began collecting for Adriane when she was born.

I'd like L'Engle first! I have that same set because my originals wore out. Because of the layout of my condo, all my books are in my bedroom. I have 532 that I haven't read yet, so I know how you feel about catching up on reading. I recently got a new bedroom set and I have a bookcase headboard! I can keep all the more-or-less current books right at hand.
