Tom Swift, the 50's series, was one of my favorite series when I was a kid.

Mike,
I got to meey Kelly Martin on day in New York when Rich Markow and I were having lunch. Her Mom and friends were sitting at the table next to us and we struck up a conversation with them.
We talked about Life Goes On and we told her we worked st DC Comics. She gushed about her a former guest star on her show, Dean Cain had landed the part of Superman on Lois and Clark. It was obvious she had a MAJOR crush on him.
She was such a tiny little thing.
