In the past, I would have no argument with this. The 18 months, Stark/Iron Man has been acting quite the judge, jury, and executioner. He decides.

Another thing I find interesting (heroic?) about Iron Man-- even though I'm not what you'd call a "fan" by any stretch-- is that he's one of the only non-powered heroes in the Marvel Universe. DC has tons of them-- Batman, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold (sort of?), the Question, Black Canary, Huntress, even the Green Lanterns, in a sci-fi way-- they're all technology-based... you could even say they're like a club. Most people who take upon the mantle of "superhero" in the Marvel Universe actually have inborn genetic or DNA-altering powers.
