Elayne... a wonderful article... and every word the truth. And may I add that i think the role of the colorist has been sadly underplayed over the last twenty years or so. So many comics full of lacklustre art have been 'saved' by wonderfully skilled colorists (the ones that don't use 'lens flare'... ha!). I wonder what these books may have looked like if the colorist had the chance to work on more accomplished art.
