Wachoski Brothers No More!
Not a dream, not a hoax...
Yes, it's true. The Wachowski Brothers, who started writing comics for Marvel before they went on to direct The Matrix trilogy, wrote and produced the V For Vendetta movie, publish Burlyman Comics (home of Doc Frankenstein and Shaolin Cowboy), and now making Speed Racer, exist no longer.
Why? Well, one of them's not a brother anymore.
Larry Wachowski has completed his gender reassignment and is now going by the name Lana. From now on, Lana and brother Andy will now be known simply as "The Wachowskis", and it's expected that Andy will be handling the press junkets for Speed Racer.

Perhaps I can interest you in some time-share investments, too.....

Gee, and yet this same writer for Fox News reported on the possibility of a sex change over two years ago...

Which to believe?

Well now, this presents something of a conundrum -- which to believe: a hoax story that reads like it could be true, or a hoax revelation from a corporate website whose news department is often dedicated to political propaganda? It's stuff like this keeps me up at night.

Hmmm... This is why we have Wiki.
Adriane Nash (1:16 AM on Sat Sep 8, 2007)
it is? Wiki's info is hardly what I would call a good source. I'm pretty sure I could add to your wiki entry that you are becoming a big blue elephant to embrace your hindi beliefs and since i'm a relative I'd get thru any screening they may have up.

besides how much of this is actually news? is it any of our business what gender a wachoski lives as (chisen or birthed)? Ive run across plenty of tabloid caliber stories and rumors this summer. (i'll point out again that wiki has j. scott campbell married with child lving in colorado and we ran a pic naming his girlfriend christy marie calling themselves the brangelina of comics)

I generally distrust the Faux News people as much as any bleeding-heart commie-pinko here, but Friedman is usually pretty spot on. It's not like it came from Hannity or Bill-o....
But I share your skepticism. Bottom line: on or off?
(I report. You decide.)

Looking at them? Neither looks like a Brother.
.
Just sayin', yo.
