In Memoriam: Carol Kalish
Sixteen years ago today, Carol Kalish, vice president of new product development at Marvel Comics died suddenly at the age of 38.
The best tribute, to this day, came from Peter David in his But I Digress column for the Comic Buyer’s Guide.
We still miss her.

give it up. those of us who had to deal with her on a business level would never rever her like you do. peter david worked for her and liked. i had to deal with her and she was NOT the type you enjoyed working with.so please give it up.
I absolutely LOVED Carol Kalsh. She was the best. I remember hearing about her death-it rocked me like she was a member of my family. Carol and I would have lunch every month or so just to talk, she would give me the best advice. She was a visionary to be sure but what a lot of people don't know is she discovered Alex Ross. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her.
