Roy Crane is one of the GODS of comics. I can't wait to read your interview.

BTW - your KING KONG book was a fun read.

Thanks on all counts, Mark. Just now finishing up with the transcription of that 1969 visit with Roy Crane -- a rambling delight.

I concur with the always wise Mark Wheatley, Roy Crane is indeed one of the GODS of comics. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the first Orlando Con back in the 70s and wish I'd had been smart enough back then to engage him in a long conversation. AS MHP wrote, when Captain Easy entered the scene, it was a whole new ballgame. Some of the Sunday pages featuring Easy are true works of art and as fine as high adventure gets!
