Terrific! Your articles always remind me of my childhood. I wasn't a big comics collector, but I found the occasional Jimmy Olson or Lois Lane comic to be a lot of fun - side-kicks or supporting characters with their own spin-offs! Just like TV!

Both Lois and Jimmy and their connections to Superman in the stories from the Silve Age.

Superman's 'Best Friend' and 'Girl Friend' had some pretty wacky stuff happen to them during the course of the relationships.

I often thought to my self, 'what drives them to want to hang around' and take all this?

I don't know what motivated Jimmy, but Lois wanted to marry him -- and not just in an Imaginary Story, either.

Residuals...You are so cynical.

But right!

Lois hatched some wacky plots 'in the name of love'.

My guess is if you're really in love with someone, you don't keep trying to trick someone into marrying you.

She was a little juvenille there for a while.

Good point. There's a difference between falling out of an airplane and leaping out of an airplane. Ol' Kal should have stuck with Lori Lemaris.
