The Pilgrim #1
Published by ComicMix, November 2008
We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go
Always a little further: it may be
Beyond the last blue mountain barred with snow,
Across that angry or that glimmering sea,
White on a throne or guarded in a cave
There lives a prophet who can understand
Why men were born: but surely we are brave,
Who make the Golden Journey to Samarkand.
The new story from Mark Ryan and Mike Grell!
Credits: Mark Ryan (Writer), Mike Grell (Artist), Jason Millet (Colorist), John Workman (Letterer), Mike Gold (Editor)

The few seconds I could see each page looked great. For some mysterious reason, when I bring it up it just skips right through to the last page and when I try to go backwards it skips again. I am using Firefox 3.0.4.

That got resolved. Thanks!

Thanks. I can now see it. That was very impressive. As usual with these Mike Grell projects, you need to use the two-page spread option.

Exceptional, guys! But the opening should have been twice as long! That's right - I want more!

(mouth agape) I'm at a loss for words. Um, yeah. What Mark said. Exceptional. Great. I'm hooked.

The first issue was really nice. Was I missing some way to zoom in further? The text was hard to read in places.

Never mind. I figured it out. For some reason the zoom in wasn't working when I first read it.

Utterly amazing. Some of Mike's best work and a hugely intriguing and timely storyline. Can't wait for more chaps! Over & out!

The art is excellent, (always a Mike Grell fan) but the story is a little hard to follow. Would it be possible to have a word narrative (like a Blue-Ray movie's secondary sound track) which will allow us to follow the story better?
Just as the movie Blade Runner is a visual masterpiece, the voice over makes understanding the story much easier!
Regards,
Kenny
