Published by ComicMix, December 2007

The diamond's been delivered, but that's not the end of it. But it can't be that hard to protect a diamond in an underground vault-- can it?

Mr. Gold,

3 questions: 1) Will ComicMix be reprinting defunct Image series Maggie the Cat # 1-2?
2) Will Mr. Grell be picking up where that series ended abruptly?
3) Will the current JSF: Ashes of Eden have a certain cat burglar making an appearance to do the impossible?

Please tell Mr. Grell that I'm getting a kick out of the new series.

P.S. If you don't mind an extra question, is Mr. Grell re-visiting the Shaman's Tear series as well?
P.P.S. Have a Happy New Year!

I'd like to, but that would require our actually finishing the story (a lot more was done than was printed). That won't be Mike's next project...

I take it you're a Maggie fan -- like me. So I don't mind saying... well, I can't say. I know the answer, but I can't tell you. Stay tuned.

I'd also like to see a Shaman's Tears graphic novel. But next up on Mike's slate is a project that he WON'T be writing. Mark Ryan is writing it. Google Mark (with, oh, Green Arrow and with Transformers and with Robin of Sherwood) in case you're not familiar with his rep. Yep, the story's THAT good!

And a happy new year to you. Mr. Fitzpatrick!

Mr. Gold,
I just recently discovered ComicMix after reading about it in your comments in the new Munden's Bar trade. I wanted to tell you what a great website it is and how happy I am to be reading new Grimjack and Jon Sable stories. Thanks also for the answers about new Maggie material, I had been wondering about that for a number of years myself.

I had a couple questions:
1. How many pages/chapters are Manx Cat and Ashes Of Eden expected to be?
2. Will any of this new material see a release in print form? I like the webcomic format, but I would love to be able to hold the stories in my hands in a nice trade.

Thanks and have a Happy New Year!

Mr. Collins,

Welcome to ComicMix! Great to have you with us Manx Cat and Ashes Of Eden will each run about, oh, 130 pages. And they will be available in trade paperback -- and maybe hardcover, although it seems that part of the business seems a bit crowded these days. And we'll do a collection of Munden's Bar on ComicMix as well. And Demons of Sherwood, and EZ Street, and The Maltese Duck...

Have a great New Year yourself, Andrew!

Awesome, thanks for the reply! I look forward to picking up the trades. I would love them in hardcover, but the last couple from IDW never made it out, unfortunately. Still, the fact that there out there at all is fine by me.

I'm just starting to try out some of the other new material here too, and it's all been very enjoyable. Demons Of Sherwood, especially. Keep the good stuff coming and you'll have a steady customer/reader in me! :)

I was really hoping that there'd be a print edition. I'll be buying:)
