Maggie the Cat's titanium claws must fit under her gloves. OK, I'll give you that. But, what's the point of the broken zipper on her cat suit or her huge metal pasties?

Seriously, Maggie has just been clocked in the jaw. There is blood dripping down the side of her mouth and yet she is standing around with her arms crossed listening to Jon expound like nothing happened. Then, flip the page and the next moment Maggie is magically in a new outfit, her hair is braided and she has no bruise or fat lip. She's putting on her metal claws and metal bra, preparing to help Jon. Why? What is her motivation? And why does Jon want the help of someone he just punched out for stealing a diamond and putting his life in jeopardy? Why is he so willing to take Maggie's word at face value that the diamond is junk? I guess these four pages have less to do with character and continuity and more to do with exposition and moving toward the next plot point...stopping nuclear terror!

Russ gets extra points for figuring out a week early what you do with a beryllium sphere. As a reward, he gets to read the remaining installments of Ashes Of Eden for free.

Agree re: Maggie's outfit. The open chest and metal bra are kinda silly.

Still, this is a damn entertaining read and look forward to rest.
