This is a great ending to a rather weird story. "At least it's in color" indeed.

Thanks! When I started reading the old Viking stories for research, I came across one bizarre story after another. These stories were so strange that we would need to tell three stories to just set up the story so people could understand it. So when Mike and I came up with MODUCK we were thrilled to finally be able to do a weird Viking story that people might have a chance of understanding. And of course it gave both of us the chance to draw a viking duck! There are somethings you just can't pass up.

Very strange story. I wondered, "How did Modi catch up with Skogul?" She had a flying horse. Moduck must have waddled really fast. Oh well.
My first thought when Skogul found the feather in Modi's beard was that he had been fooling around with a duck! If a kiss from a Valkyrie couldn't transform him, maybe a kiss from a duck could. I know, I'm warped.
