Again, the artistry is top notch.

Reminds me of the movies I would make as a kid. Only better. It's funny Scott is already having artistic differences! :)

No bout adoubt it: This one hits so close to home as to bring a (good) shiver of recognition. Flashes me back to the 8mm Bolex in the backyard, there amongst the clotheslines and zucchini vines -- improvising a sequel to THE BRUTE MAN with the tallest kid on the block made up like Rondo Hatton.

Hey! Don't leave me hanging off this roof! More pages! More pages! More pages! Let's go! Everyone! All together. More pages! More pages! More pages! ;-)

I wish I could just snap my fingers and make these pages happen faster. I know exactly what Marc Hempel means when he says, "Once I think of the page, it's done, in my head." I see all the pages DONE. But I still need to do them. And five pages a week is about as fast as I get. That's five pages, fully painted and lettered. And since a good number of the coming weeks of EZ STREET are MORE than five page chapters, I'm working as fast as I can to keep way out in front of the deadline.

The really cool thing is that the ComicMix archive will just keep getting deeper. And any new readers that stumble upon EZ STREET and the other comics here will have a nice big chunk of the graphic novels to read at the start.
