This is getting cooler and cooler! I like how the world is a bizarre mix of technology and sorcery. The glider scouts found a tire, but no body. In comics (and soap operas), if you don't find the body, then the person ain't dead! Very often, even if you find the body, the person ain't dead. I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
