Black Ice is hard to follow to begin with, but when a page (84) is mysteriously missing it's impossible to comprehend.

Yeah! Page 84 is here!
Oh no! I still don't get it.
Our hero, Neil, clubs someone to death and his first reaction is,"What do we do with the body?" Like this is normal! This is a boy who just a few pages before had been curled up in the fetal position, crying for his Mommy.
"These didn't tell you anything?" (page 83) And the sage points...at what? Is it the gauntlets? The tattoos on the dead man's chest? The brain stains on the floor?
Meanwhile Orum, who has been stranded and alone, wandering the desert for three days, takes such offense at at off-hand remark that he LEAPS down from a cliff (a twelve to fifteen foot drop) to lop off some poor idiot's head. Nobody runs. One guy looks a bit shocked. But the rest just stand about, looking resigned and depressed at the beheading of their friend. Like this is normal! THEN Orum asks for safe passage to Bal Harbor? I sure hope Orum doesn't have to sleep any time during his trip. Lopping off the head of a stranger and then asking his friends for a ride is just plain rude. And it's a good way to wake up with a boulder smashing in your brain or a harpoon in sicking out of your gut.
Do even fictional people from strange alternate realities act like this?
