One of the truly great ones has exited stage left. I fondly remember his turn as the pool shark legend in The Twilight Zone episode where his character oozed poignancy. And as the quintessential ‘everyman’ in It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Trashing Ray and Irwin’s garage was the very first time I laughed until I cried. The Winters brought many, many days of Summer laughter. His genius will be sorely missed but long remembered.

I remember Jonathan Winters had his own show in the 70s, but I might be wrong. I also used to love Ernie Kovacs, my dad introduced me to them when I was quite young and I still laugh when I see the Narobi Trio.

  4. naturally like your website but you need to take a look at the spelling on quite a
few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very bothersome to inform the reality however I’ll definitely come back again.
