Davis seems to be a changed man. Gone is the witty in your face braggart. Instead you have a sad beaten down man.

I think what we have here is a man beaten down who took all his energy and his mammoth spirit to stand himself back up. Nobody will ever take Michael’s wit and in-your-face charm away from him. That is who the man is.

That, and my friend. I am proud of my friend.

I honestly don’t know what to make of all of this. I’m not even sure if it’s even my place to try.

But I agree with those who have said that Michael seems broken. And from more than just the whole Milestone “debacle”.

That said, I’ve been reading this story, since before M2.0 was officially announced. And while it saddens me that Black men can’t seem to work out their differences, it also occurs to me, that I don’t know the entire story. All I know is Michael’s, based on what I’ve read from him.

I think it’s extremely dangerous to trust Rich Johnston and Bleeding FOOL (no, that was not a typo), or include him on your personal affairs. Rich could care less about M2.0, or any of the people involved, including Michael. I’ve told Michael as much.

I don’t have an issue with the “silence” approach that Milestone (and DC) is employing. I’d much rather they work behind the scenes and get the product to where it needs to be, than rush something out, that’s not fully realized.

I don’t know what Michael was left out of M2.0. I could speculate (and I actually have; based on things I’ve seen even Michael say in these articles), but at the end of the day, I do see a man that is hurting, and I hope he finds his way thru his personal uphill battle.
