I’m impressed for now. Did they actually film a look-alike Batmobile? Or did they swipe footage? Dale DaBone does a superior Adam West impersonation. I’m not so sure about James Deen’s Burt Ward. But the costumes and production do seem to have some reverence for the source material.

Yeah, I wondered about the Batmobile bits, too. They seem VERY much as I remember the original series being, and I find it hard to imagine either Warner Bros providing a porn movie with actual clips from the show or a porn movie taking such effort to get it so right.

How is it that such a thing even exist? I would think the WB lawyers would be all over this in a second. I’ve never seen the movie but from the trailer it looks like (aside from the sex content) the only thing they’ve changed is replacing the bat and R on their costumes with XXX’s. It’s even called Batman. Just saying something’s a parody does not make it so under the law and if memory serves DC and Warners successfully went after a porn production company back in the 80’s because of a parody where the lead actress was wearing a Supergirl costume.

I think you mean Chekhov, and not Hitchcock. It’s called “Chekhov’s gun.”

Ummm, actually, that wasn’t Hitchcock (though he may well have quoted it), it was Anton Chekhov.

No no Mike, it belongs here. You’re right. I was looking everywhere for the reference on this. Thanks for the tip on that. Mea culpa.
