I agree with nearly every statement you made in your final analysis the exception being that their is a twofold direction emerging. Don't forget the series is teasing out what may have happened between T2 & T3. While the Connors are attempting to find and stop Skynet as was their intention in Season 1 they are also realizing in the event the can not prevent judgement day they have to make sure the future would still play out that the human race survives. Fox will ultimately be to blame because they thrusted it back onto a Monday night no longer clear of heavy competition from all other networks. It originally pemiered in the thick of the writer strike as the only fresh offering available.

I got the DVD based on positive buzz and was hooked. However, I'm quickly getting bored with the series based on the recent episodes. The last four (I liked the season opener) have been lacking in direction and serious successes from our intrepid group. A major win every once in a while would be nice. A plan with a confident attitude would be good too.I'll keep watching for now, but at this point I wouldn't be upset if FOX cancelled the series after the first 13 of this season.

"Honestly, Linda Hamilton's Connor wouldn't be caught dead reading Wizard of Oz in a million years. She'd sooner crush John's skull with her bare hands." Which just shows how stiff and wooden Linda Hamilton and James Cameron are. Completey disagree about this review, this episode was not only surprising but the show is one of the best on TV atm, but hwat happened to the 22 episode order for season 2??? SO WHAT if it's not action packed lately, it's developing and growing.

I disagree with all three of you. TV series are not films. Things don't happen and major plot points don't occur in 42 minutes. the character development is for the tv watcher and if you wan to bring a broader audience (i.e. women, ever heard of them?) the series has to develop character as well as plot. I will agree that Green and Dekker are showing some serious acting props and it was nice of you fellows to notice. I think Bedell would be the first to agree that when it comes to a series, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

I disagree with the comments..this show is actually picking up steam. I find Season 2 to be much better in storyline and characters. I almost folded after Season 1 but have actually become a huge fan now. The flash forwards to the war are fantastic as well as the adding the backstory of the Bedell character. Hoping to see that character emerge in T4.
