    Another excellent and timely piece.

It is the PREACHER who has the religious conviction and moral authority to stand up for what is right. It is the REPORTER who is given opportunity of the press and the responsibility to convey the truth. It is the POET who must speak truth to power. It is the ORGANIZER who has obligation to assemble and make our voice heard. It is the LAWYER who has the task of making sure our laws (and international laws) are fully and fairly applied to all people: citizens, veterans, allies and enemy combatants alike. We must stand together, not just for our own constitutional rights but, for the inalienable human rights of all people. It is the POLITICIAN who has been given the power to make and change policy. It is the PATRIOT who honors the Flag. It is the PATRIOT who can bring our VETERANS home waving the Flag, not just lying under the Flag.
