  1. One way to make 9 year old girls (and their families) feel more welcome is to cut back on the visible T & A. Girls that age can be very self-conscious, and it doesn’t help to feel they are being judged against those standards.

  2. Graham Cracker Comics in our town does it right. They are welcoming to everyone, and you feel it the moment you walk in the store. They even have a ladies night every third Thursday of the month. They also host Dungeons and Dragons and Magic events. It’s a great store with great people.
